چکیده

An optimization-based methodology is proposed in this paper preserving mesh surfaces in 3D watermarking. The LevenbergMarquardt optimization algorithm is used for displacing the vertices according to the message to be embedded. A specific cost function is used by this method in order to ensure minimal surface distortion while the watermark would be enabled with high robustness to attacks. This cost function consists of three components representing the distance to the original surface, to the watermarked surface and the vertex displacement, respectively. The proposed methodology is statistical, blind and robust. A study of its crypto-security is provided as well in this research study.

Third Generation 3 D Watermarking : Applied

With the explosion of multimedia content over Internet, there is a need for copyright protection of digital content. Whether it is music albums swapped over peer to peer networks or video files uploaded over websites such as YouTube.com or 3D models such as Shrek, artists need to protect their ownership of content. 3D Watermarking provides a deterrent to piracy of 3D models by embedding a hidde...

Proposing an effective approach for Network security and multimedia documents classically using encryption and watermarking

Local binary pattern (LBP) operators, which measure the local contrast within a pixel's neighborhood, successfully applied to texture analysis, visual inspection, and image retrieval. In this paper, we recommend a semi blind and informed watermarking approach. The watermark has been built from the original image using Weber Law. The approach aims is to present a high robustness and imperceptibi...

Assessment of camera phone distortion and implications for watermarking

In this paper, the distortion introduced by cameras of smart phones such as iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS is measured and quantified. In particular, the spatial frequency response (SFR) of a mobile camera phone is measured [1]. A new robustness metric that relates camera phone quality to watermark robustness is defined. Experiments were conducted using watermarked images to verify the predictions ma...

Robust Image Watermarking with the Randlet Transform

The randlet transform is a new transform based on randomly-chosen basis functions. The randomized nature of the transform lends itself to watermarking applications, especially in the difficulty of an attacker discovering the watermark and in robustness against perceptually insignificant image modifications, including malicious attacks. Watermark embedding is done by quantizing the values of ran...
